We got the Reese's and snickers cookie, if you like the candy you will like the cookie. The cookies were fresh and chewy. They also have other cookies such as: snickerdoodle, half dipped in chocolate, chocolate chip with marshmallows. Big cookies were only $1.99 which wasn't that bad for a big cookie.

Came in here randomly because I had a sweet tooth craving after eating DP Cheesesteaks and boy was I glad I did. Right when you walk in, all the cookies are displayed nicely behind a glass counter and you feel this sense of calm come over you and all the problems in the world just, dissipate #FatBoyProblems I only got 2 cookies because I didn't want to be a total fatty. I got the marshmallow/chocolate cookie and a snickers cookie. They were both beautifully decorated and they both tasted freakin amazing. They were fresh/soft and this was at 2PM in the middle of the day. This is a great place to grab cookies for any occasion, whether it is for a fat boy's birthday or for a fat boy after playing baseball Final conclusion - I'll be back to try more of the cookies and brag to all my friends when I snap chat them a picture of the cookie display

The cookies were big and certainly Over the Top with lots of chocolate and peanut butter pieces throughout. Although they tasted pretty good but I wasn't impressed overall. As a baker myself I'm always pretty critical of store bought cookies and maybe Over the Top Cookies just isn't the type of cookie I prefer.

Best little dessert place in South Jordan. Well run and locally owned (if you ever get a chance to meet the owner Joe he's a super nice, genuine guy) we've come multiple times since moving here. Fun and different selection of cookies and desserts. I wouldn't say it's cheap, but it's good quality! Please try this place if you haven't already!

Cookies here were very good and reasonably priced. I love that you have a choice of large or small cookies. $3.99 for a half dozen small cookies with an extra thrown in for free. A lot of candy bar flsvors I also got to sample their homemade caramel corn. It was excellent!

Just popped into Over The Top after lunch next door at DP Cheesesteaks. I decided to pick up cookies for the office. The feedback ranged from "Mmmmmm" to "Are they all gone already?" so I am guessing everyone was quite pleased. It was very easy to get in and out of the store and the lady who assisted us was very nice. They have a big selection of gourmet cookies and we tried everything a little bit of everything including the Lemon, S'mores, Mint and candy bar cookies. SO GOOD! I definitely recommend this place.

I stopped by there on a whim to take a few cookies home. After I paid for my selection, I saw a lemon glazed cookie that was more along the lines of what I would like and had wished I got that one. I said I'd try it on another trip back, but the owner just gave it to me because she said it was such a popular one. Anyway...it was amazing! It really is one of the best-tasting cookies I have ever had. Great dessert and great customer service from a small business owner.

Stopped in for a sweet treat after dinner and we were not pleased. Our boys love cookies and we ended up throwing them away. All the cookies tasted the same, and they were not tasty at all. Very disappointed!!! Will not return for the over-priced cookies. However, the staff was very friendly and polite.

My favorite cookies by far! We were sad to move from SoJo and have to trek out there from time to time just to get a cookie fix. We usually split one of the large cookies. The Andes mint one and the Smores one are our faves. I also love using Over the Top as a corporate gift. They will mail or hand deliver the cookies to come of my top clients. They have become a staple in how I do business!

I really like these cookies. What I really liked about this place though was they had two different sizes of cookies. I was able to try quite a few of the smaller cookies to see which ones I liked the best. I really thought that was a nice touch. The lemon cookie was really tasty, and I don't usually look for that type of flavor...I'm a chocolate/peanut butter fan.

Mediocrity and moderation are two words you won't ever see in Rachel's (creator and owner of Over the Top Cookies) vocabulary. And after learning about her sweet creations, you've come to know that's true. In a world where the basic cookie competition seems stagnant, Rachel takes it a step higher by saying: let's throw on some candy bars. Or, why not dip Oreos and fortune cookies in chocolate and confections. Or, 'instead of just dipping apples in caramel, let's do it THREE times!' What a fun review this was for the Sassies! Aside from the fact we all got to try the chocolate-laden baked goods, it was so neat to learn of how this local business started and meet the friendly face behind it. We were also allowed access to the kitchen where all the magic happens, and witnessed the dozens of containers filled with candy bar chucks, ready to blanket the freshly baked cookies. Let's just say there was a lot of self-restraint needed, and practiced, in that special room. I think we were mostly impressed with the taste of the cookie itself! Yes, it is covered with ooey-gooey goodness formerly known as a Reese's Peanut Butter cup, Twix, or Butterfinger (to name just a few), but the cookie - the canvas and foundation of that gooeyness - is Rachel's creation as well. And each one is perfectly soft, and contributes to the gooey perfection you'd expect. After reading our preview and review of Over the Top Cookies, you'll see that SassyScoops highly recommends this local bakery. Each item is sold individually, or in gift baskets of different sizes that would be perfect for business giveaways, birthday gifts, baby shower gifts, or Valentine's Day gifts. Their name says it all. These cookies are indeed "Over the Top." For me I prefer Mrs Fields. These cookies just have too much going on for me. The quality is good. Don't go looking for a simple Chocolate chip.

Sometimes in life you need a pick me up. Sometimes you are tired of eating a your candy bar out of a wrapper. Sometimes you want a cookie or you just cant decide. I have found a place that has the solution. Over the top is a excellent name for these cookies. No bad choices from the excellant sugar cookies to candy bar covered cookies. They have a smore cookies that looks out this world. I think there a cookie under there? The only complaint I have is that they use the left twix on the twix cookie and the right side version. Still good. They have big and small version of their cookies. Grab a few of the small ones to try and then buy the big one you enjoy.

I want to stress that the service was awesome and really friendly. The new owner was there as well as an employee when we came in for cookies and they were both very kind and friendly! Felt like I was walking into a friend's place. However, and I almost feel guilty like I'm publicly insulting a friends cooking, the cookies aren't that wonderful. Not very creative flavors- same dough but let's throw in a bunch of different types of candy- and the cookies themselves were too crunchy and didn't have enough flavor. I just kept thinking about Chips Ahoy as I ate them. The candy they throw in is what makes the cookie. Too much money for a bland, uncreative cookie. Sad day. You'd be much better off spending your money at RubySnap where you get more bang for your buck with super creative flavors and big portions.
